I started my piano journey when I was six years old and have continued playing for almost 30 years. I’ve always enjoyed sharing my love of the piano and music and began teaching lessons 10 years ago. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in music and am a Board Certified Music Therapist. Before our recent move to Clarksville, I worked for 6 years as the Music Therapist for a Therapeutic Day school in the suburbs of Chicago where I worked with children K-12 with developmental, behavioral and learning disabilities. I’ve always loved working with kids and fostering in them the love of creating, sharing, and using music to help them in their daily lives. I believe that learning piano will equip children and adults with a skill that will encourage growth, foster confidence and bring joy to all those around. My goal is to not only teach my students piano, but to instill the love of music in every student that I am honored to know.
